# stinkbot - TubeSock saves YouTube video as H.264, MP4, MP3, or FLV (Flash) files, so you can watch them later on your video iPod, Mac, or PlayStation Portable. You can also save audio-only for your non-video iPod. You can view a preview before, and during, the save to disk. Worked for me saving to iTunes as MP4. It can also save to iMovie or to a file you specify. $15. Saves only the first 30 seconds until you pay for it. [gazette]

Asher Moses at The Sydney Morning Herald -
iPhone skins irk Apple - Apple has sic'd its lawyers on people
who created iPhone screens for Windows Mobile and Palm devices, like
the one I
pictured on Sunday on my Palm Z22. Additionally, they've sent
letters to bloggers, demanding removal of images and links. Good luck,
Apple. People put your iPhone images on their current devices because
they want to buy your product, but it isn't yet available. The nerd
community's hardest collective wood, and all that. Create ill will,
and you'll hurt only yourself. Marketing 101. Sure, if somebody tries
to steal your ideas and sell them as their own, go after them. We'll
all applaud. But don't turn down free publicity. Or stifle fun.
