# Jeffrey Zeldman - Cold - It was 9 degrees Farenheit in New York City at 7am this morning, with an expected high of 20. 150 miles north, in the boonies, it's considerably colder:
# CreativeTechs - Fold your own PowerMac G5! - foldable paper models of the iPhone, Modern Macs, iPods and Accessories, and Legacy Macs, plus paper Mac ornaments. [gazette]
# Erica Sadun at The Unofficial Apple Weblog - First Person Shooter Game on iPod Video? - for $5, bobbee tec will sell you Cyboid, a Doom-like first-person shooter game for your video iPod or a number of Nokia phones and and hand-held game machines. They don't appear to actually support the iPhone yet, but they're promising it, and the video shows it. [tuaw] # macnn - Apple offers WiFi fix for some Intel Macs - the Airport Extreme Update 2007-001 "patches a vulnerability that enables attackers on the wireless network to cause system crashes." Recommended for all Intel-based Macs, but really only necessary on the Core Duo versions of Mac mini, MacBook, and MacBook Pro. Does not provide 802.11n support. Installed fine on my Core 2 Duo iMac. Appeared to replace the "Internet Connect" application, and probably did other stuff I didn't find. I discovered no user-visible changes. [macnn] # Christopher Breen at Macworld - The majesty of mono - want to save space on your next voice-only podcast? You can cut the size in half by converting it to mono. Mr. Breen tells you how to do it in iTunes. [macworld]
