# compfused.com via YouTube - How to Peel a Hard-Boiled Egg in 10 seconds. Tap the ends, take a little shell off each end, cup your hand around it, and blow. I was unable to duplicate this on one egg, but can see that it might be workable with practice. [lifehacker]

# Dashboard Widgets - iTunes Connection Manager is a Dashboard widget that shows IP addresses of connected users of your shared playlists on one side and the current tunes playing on the other. [macuser]

# Version 2.1 of NeoOffice is available. Works for me on my 120K checkbook spreadsheet. Based on OpenOffice 2.1.

# I've been watching "Lost" with abc.com's free on-line viewer. It's had a problem that even with a small image, my 60 kbyte/sec DSL line wasn't fast enough. It didn't buffer while paused, so I couldn't preload, and ended up with lots of long pauses while watching. Last night, I went looking for something to watch, and was directed to download a new player. The new player still can't quite keep up, but it only exhibits short pauses, in full-screen mode. Amazing. Made possible by Move Networks Quantum Media Player. Given how smoothly their demo videos play, and from watching my network bandwidth while watching, I think my abc.com pauses were caused by bandwidth limitations on their end, or by the net, not by my DSL line's maximum throughput. I discovered "Day Break": Detective Brett Hooper lives the same day over and over again, learning to keep from harm those he cares about, and trying to discover who framed him. Sort of an action movie version of "Groundhog Day".
