Google Desktop for Mac

# freeridecoding.com - BurnAgain DVD is a multi-session write-once media burner. It supports CDR, CDRW, and DVD+RW. "Support for additional DVD media types is in development." $24.50 for a single license, $15 for a student license. Without the license, it's fully-functional but has a 20-second startup delay and allows only 10 trial burns. Failed the burn on the first disk I tried, but worked on the second. Don't know if the fail was due to media or my doing other things during the first burn, but I kept my hands off during the second. [tuaw]

# Scott McNulty at The Unofficial Apple Weblog - Google Desktop for the Mac 1.0 - there's been a Windoze version of Google Desktop for a number of years now. Google has finally implemented it on the Mac. It's a full-disk search mechanism. "Fast and easy search for your computer like Google.com for the web". I'd probably install it if the Mac didn't already have Spotlight, though the web history search is tempting. [tuaw]
