New iPods? Beatles on iTunes?

Wednesday, September 5, 2007

# Liveblogging today's Apple Special Event (10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern): Wired, Mac Daily News, Gizmodo, Apple Gazette, cunning.tv.

The Beat Goes On

# Pool Party - Madonna's "Beat Goes On" Leaks - Madonna has a new song called "Beat Goes On", which has appeared on illegal download sites. So is today's Apple event about Madonna, the Beatles, or Sonny and Cher? My guess, of course, is the Beatles. [macdailynews]

# Sci-Fi Hi-Fi - PodWorks allows you to copy songs from an iPod or iPhone to your Mac. iTunes allows copying only from your Mac to your iPhone. So if you lose your Mac copy, or want to use your portable device to get your tunes to another computer, this'll do it. $8. Demo version limits nuber of copied tunes. Worked on my iPhone. [tuaw]
