On Wednesday, September 5, I received a Rivet Stereo Headset and Belkin Headphone Adapter for iPhone from Amazon.com. I'm underwhelmed by the music quality of the headset. It isn't horrible, but there's a boominess to the bass. I slightly prefer the sound of the Apple earbuds included with the iPhone. But I use earbuds mostly for hands-free telephone calls, and they work good for that. Also, the lanyard design makes it very easy to carry around, and the cloth cover on the wires seems very sturdy. Microphone quality is excellent.

The Belkin adapter works, but the female was very tight. Had to force a plug into it, and then yank hard to get it out. It appears to be loosening up with use.
